We had a "fiesta" (thanks Jamie!) to celebrate with about 50 of mom and dad's closest friends and relatives last night.
The weather totally cooperated (thank you!) and it was a great evening!
Mom has always said she wanted a "big diamond", so I set her up with one on the cake (no problem, dad! :) !) NOTICE HER WRIST!
The food was amazing (thanks to Sammy) and it was super fun! Aunt Lynn and John provided toasts (like they did at my SURPRISE 25th party I had for them back in the day!) and there were lots of giggles and damp eyes!
Now, we are ready for some friends to pop over to help us get rid of all of the leftover food! (really!!)
Next up, Kate's first day of school (which was Friday) and Griff's first day (which is tomorrow)!
