Got the opportunity to go see Oprah today (thanks Jill!). Today it rocked! We had a LIVE show about American Icons. Tommy Hilfiger just wrote a book about it and we all got an autographed signed copy! Cool!
Then, we also had Ralph Lauren's daughter on who owns her own candy shop in Manhattan. She also brought us all a bag of candy goodies--shhh they will somehow "appear" around Valentine's Day here at our house! :)
Daniel Day-Lewis was also taped for a show airing tomorrow (LIVE again) on Oscar nominees. He almost broke down while taping while talking about Heath Ledger. It was a moment.
KUDOS to Jill--our Oprah travel agent for a FABULOUS experience-- I coined the phrase today "We laughed, we cried, we ate Moon Pie!" (which, incidentally, we actually did do!)
