She got her braces put on Thursday (along with a bottom retainer that will expand her lower jaw)...and she picked the rockin' red, white and blue to decorate her mouth for the next 6 weeks...she already has it picked out that the next time will be bright pink and glow-in-the-dark blue. We shall see how that goes!
My mother also found this SUPER talented woman in Springfield who paints shoes. She will paint whatever you want on them, so we surprised Kate--I had bought these BORING BROWN sandals earlier in the year, and this is what she came back with!! We both LOVE them and will be wearing A LOT of them for the rest of the summer months!
More summer to come--really!! And back to blogging on a more regular basis...
