I will be posting just a few pics of what we were able to do in Chicago the past weekend...
Our first stop was the American Girl store...where Kate had her doll Samantha's hair done (after she tried to do it herself with DISASTEROUS results!!).
First, Samantha was buffed all up and then Kate got to help the stylist fix Samantha's hair.
She absolutely LOVED it --and promised that she would keep the pretty bows in for AT LEAST 8 months (ha!).
However, the picture of the morning belonged to Griff. He was OUT OF HIS MIND at the store--it was just too boring for a little guy, so he just lay down in the middle of the doll salon and pulled his coat over his head until we left!
The next adventure was MUCH more fun for a boy...stay tuned!
