No, your eyes are not deceiving you--my daughter this weekend decided to take the plunge and cut her hair off! (she MUST be a chip off the old block!) :)
She has it "shagged out" in the back and then yesterday, we went back and had bangs cut into it!
I think it is adorable and will be so much LESS work--especially during homework and reading time!
p.s. Griff got a haircut too--and I LOVE this shirt on him!
