UPDATE: 9/9: So, actually, Kate didn't make it, but her friend Morgan did...so that has been pretty traumatic for her this evening. Morgan, in fact, was one of only 2 children who are not currently in ballet to make the show. Let's just say Kate went to bed crying :(
ALSO: Did anyone watch the VMA's to see what a disaster Britney was? Lord help us all if that is the "comeback" we have all been waiting for! YIKES!
So, neither Kate or Morgan made the cut for the Nutcracker this year (which, actually, is okay once I read how much was involved in order for her to skip across the stage twice during a show...but, I digress...)
But, on an upbeat note, THE ILLINI WON!! Suz and I took the kids to tailgate and go to the game, but after the kids ate their McDonald's in the backseat of the car, and it started raining, we just decided to forget the game and go home and watch it on the Big Ten Network. So, kinda lame to start the year, but at least Michigan lost (again!)
Tomorrow, working all day and Monday morning...so more updates later!

Britney was Horrible!
Her hair was awful, her outfit, she wasn't really singing, she barely danced. It was a train wreck!
