So, after Chef Mickey's, it was still early and we got off the monorail and decided to hit some of the MK (since we knew we were coming back to spend the whole day on Thursday), we wanted to hit some rides to make the next day less hectic.
We also got some mouse ears for our cousins Luc and Maisie who are just 1--and some mouse ears for a friend of mine from MMO.
It was a beautiful evening and we did get to a bunch of rides.
HOWEVER, the next day, was rockin! We were at MK before rope drop, and I scooted off to get fastpasses. John, Kathy, Tom and the kids all got the strollers and we started our day at MK together!
John, Kate, Lizzie and Tom all rode Splash Mountain (again) and got soaked--this is from the above bridge! Everyone's happy! The bottom is a goofy boy pic because they were so tired of waiting for the other's on Splash Mountain.
John, Kate and I were planning on hitting Space Mountain, but after Lizzie and her mom went thru, Kate bailed. So, we were a bit miffed. Tom had taken the boys on TomorrowLand Transit (a train ride), and Kathy and Lizzie were gone, so we just went over to Buzz Lightyear and as we walked in, there was a woman giving away lanyards--they were free passes to come back to the park at 9 p.m. and stay after the park closed for one hour!!!
We were SO excited to get this opportunity--we basically got over being miffed at Kate real quick! :)
We then asked about a pass for Griffin and the others in our group, and our "wish" was granted! All of us were invited back! More on this next time...
