So, day 2 our cousins arrived and they went to MK on Saturday...since we had just been there, we took the opportunity to go to Epcot.
I had heard from MANY sources to get to do the "Soarin" ride, you have to be up at the front at rope drop and follow the staff into the ride. So, I do as I am told and was literally the first person to pull fastpasses for the ride. The time to come back was 9:50-10:50, so we had an hour to kill.
John and the kids grabbed the stroller and met me right outside the big fountain. John then told me that there was NOBODY in the character pavillion, so we stopped in and literally did not wait 2 minutes to see Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale, and Goofy. It rocked. However, my camera must have been on some strange setting, because it really took out of focus pictures!
After checking out Nemo and Turtle Talk with Crush (which Kate got to talk to Crush and it was funny!), we had a quick snack and decided to walk around world showcase. Sounds good, right? However, as we walked, and walked, and walked, we found out about half way around the place that none of the food vendors even opened until noon! It was around 11:15-11:30 at the time...memo to self, next time don't even bother!!! We ran into Mary Poppins as well and now Kate has a mean "Spit Spot" English accent going on!
Tomorrow, I will tell all about our trip that night to Hollywood Studios, Fantasmic and fun!!!
